Job ID: CGEMJP00228477 Job Position: Tableau Senior Solution Architect Duration: Long term Location: Charlotte, NC Hybrid Job Description: Provide expert guidance on Business Intelligence (BI) skills and technologies with specialization in Tableau.. Lead the development and maintenance of Tableau reporting solutions. Design and create data visualizations (reports and dashboards) as required to support user stories, including UI/visualization aspects. Work with product managers and businesses and understand the data requirements and iteratively design visualizations for customer presentation. Perform detailed data analysis and create optimized solutions to pull data into to Tableau. Design and create data visualizations (reports and dashboards) as required to support user stories, including UI/visualization aspects. Develop scalable and maintainable BI applications to meet business objectives. Develop security and authentication standards for the organization. Maintain accurate and complete technical architectural documents. Define BI standards, guidelines, and best practices for business groups and technical teams. Support BI tools upgrades in development, testing, and documentation. Perform maintenance and troubleshooting activities for BI tools. Diagnose and resolve BI tool capacity issues. Recommend strategies to improve the performance and capacity of BI tools. Address customer queries and issues in a timely manner. Provide BI administration and technical support during weekends, after-hours, and holidays when needed. Provide technical training on BI tools to junior staff. Collaborate with BI Administrators, Developers, and Analysts to successfully develop BI reporting and analysis solutions. Work with business groups and technical teams to develop and maintain a data warehouse platform for BI reporting. Liaise with business and technology partners to build insightful analytical solutions and translate. Troubleshoot data discrepancies; resolve and articulate them Identify areas where operational efficiency can be improved through enhanced automation; implement those enhancements. Required Skill: Bachelors degree with a concentration in MIS / Computer Science / Engineering. 12+ years of total industry experience of which 8+ years working in Tableau with a strong ability to analyze data and perform root cause analysis and provide end-to-end BI solutions including data ingestion, data quality, data modeling and data visualization. Strong knowledge of analytics and reporting tools such as Tableau and other data visualization tools Experience with report migration from one tool to another. Ability to extract information from multiple databases using complex query statements and advanced database tools. Minimum five years delivering complex data management engagements including all phases of the project life cycle from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and go live phases. Work in an onsite-offshore model involving daily interactions with offshore teams to ensure on-time quality deliverables. Experience with organizing, analyzing, and disseminating medium to large amounts of information with great attention to detail and accuracy.
