Job Description:-

Position Summary: Oracle DBA to work with DevOps and
Server Support groups to provide senior level Database Administration support
in a highly virtualized enterprise with 700+ virtual servers in production.
Support will include administration of Oracle 10g to 19c databases, upgrades,
backups, cloning and migration of database to Nutanix clusters, infrastructure
automation, system security and vulnerability management. This is an ON-SITE
position located in a Montgomery County Government building in Rockville, MD,
for one year with likelihood for extension.

Required:

Bachelors degree in
Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems or other
related field.

12 + years of experience
in installation, configuration and management of Oracle DB versions 10G to
19C.

Expert experience in:

Support with upgrades
of Oracle DBs and support Oracles DB with other departments.

Automating backups and
restoring DBs and cloning DBs for several applications as required by
Enterprise including knowledge in OEM, RMAN and PL/SQL.

Support with Migration
of Oracle DBs to Nutanix cluster either with or without NDB.

Knowledge of Linux
Server, install OS and configuration of Oracle DBs in Linux environments.

Supporting large
Database size more than 6TB+ and experience in migrating the
configuration/setups from staging to production as required
