Proficiency in working with various database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or others. Deep understanding of database administration tasks like backup and recovery, performance tuning, and data security. Strong scripting skills (e.g., Ansible, scripting, Python, Power) to develop and maintain automation of operational tasks. Familiarity with data security best practices and the ability to handle sensitive information. Knowledge of data obfuscation techniques to protect sensitive data during provisioning and masking processes. Ability to identify and resolve issues related to VDB provisioning, data obfuscation, and self-service capabilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex problems in a timely manner. Excellent communication skills. Job duties: Manage the provisioning and lifecycle of Virtual Databases (VDBs) using the Delphix platform. Collaborate with teams to understand their data requirements and configure VDBs accordingly. Provide operational support for the Delphix environment, ensuring data integrity and performance. Develop and maintain automation scripts/tools to streamline data obfuscation processes. Execute and monitor the data obfuscation process to anonymize sensitive data. Assist users in onboarding onto the Delphix self-service platform and provide ongoing support. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VDB provisioning, data obfuscation, and self-service capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the self-service capabilities and enhance user experience. Stay updated with Delphix platform updates and new features, and provide recommendations for their implementation.
