Job Title: Sitecore Business Analyst Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6+ Months Contract Job Description: ob Summary: The Sitecore Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation within the Sitecore web content management system (CMS) environment. This role is responsible for understanding and documenting business needs, translating them into functional requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful Sitecore solutions that meet organizational objectives. Key Responsibilities: Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements related to website functionality, content management, user experience, and digital marketing initiatives. Documentation: Create detailed documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams to clearly communicate project goals and specifications. Sitecore Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the Sitecore CMS platform and its capabilities to identify opportunities for improvements and optimizations. Requirements: 5-6+ years of hands-on experience with Content Management Platforms, Sitecore preferred. Minimum 9-12 years of experience in as business analysis, project management or similar role. Solid understanding of web development, information architecture, CMS, integrated technologies, and digital marketing Experience gathering client requirements and translating them to actionable plans based on Sitecore best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Business Analyst in web development projects, with specific experience in Sitecore projects being highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams. Familiarity with content management systems, digital marketing, and web development concepts. Sitecore certification or relevant Sitecore experience is a significant advantage. Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies is a plus. (1.) To understand the business requirements and map it to functional specifications. (2.) Suggest design solutions (3.) To participate and facilitate the walkthrough to brief the Functional Specification mapping to Business Requirements. (4.) To prepare the functional specification document and ensure for completeness and storage. (5.)
