Job Role and Responsibilities: Looking for a senior IT person, with manufacturing experience(working with local apps, manufacturing process knowledge) , strong technical application and database experience , ability to work well with others and strong communicator. Below some snips to indicate the software , SDLC skills. Communicate status updates to managers and business units proactively. Manage expectations relative to delivery of IT projects. Support migration and configuration of numerous local applications from BD to embecta domain. Use excellent development to design and implement complex windows desktop applications and other software utilizing BDs approved programming languages, including, but not limited to, Visual Basic, .NET, MS Transactional SQL and Oracle databases. Aid in development of software design processes and procedures for embedded and PC systems used in the manufacturing and support of medical devices. Apply knowledge of PLC data collection and other manufacturing systems integration with custom applications built on SQL server and Oracle databases. Coordinate software validation activities as it relates to quality, regulatory or other requirements. Work with other team members to prepare functional specifications, technical specifications, testing plans and other documentation as required by systems development lifecycle. Review requirements and design documentation to assess correctness, completeness, reusability of components, testability and usability.
