Role: Alteryx Developer Location: NYC, NY /Remote Type: Contract Shift Day 9AM TO 6PM EST Participates in the full software development life cycle from scoping, analysis, design, implementation, to delivery and support. Works with client stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into Alteryx workflows, as directed. Assists in the translation and communication of business needs in clear technical terms to the technical resources and the technical details in simple business terms to the leadership and non-technical stakeholders. Manages, schedules, and documents data operations and tasks, including extraction, transformation, loading, archival, security, backup and aggregate table creation. Assists in the confirmation that all development is in best interest for the end user experience and easily scalable. Assists in the implementation of business rules via stored procedures, middleware, or other technologies. Facilitates the reporting solution that consistently meet quality and performance requirements. Troubleshoots production issues, identify root cause and implement fixes. Create and update documentation like best practices, technical specifications, implementation guides, architecture diagrams, and design documents. Builds and maintains trusted relationships with diverse group of clients, team members, managers, and subject matter experts. Design, develop, validate, and troubleshoot the ETL workflows and datasets in Alteryx for analysis, forecasting, and report delivery. Identify the current state of existing dashboards and customize it as per the business needs. Make use of Alteryx server to schedule, monitor, and enhance workflow performance. Limit the data access by integrating security model in the Tableau dashboard. Do end-to-end validation of data. Write complex SQL queries with the help of complex joins on various tables. Document and Publish Alteryx workbooks and data extracts/ Alteryx workflows/ apps/macros.
