Position:Cloud FinOps Consultant Location:MD Duration:Long term Job Description: As a Cloud FinOps Consultant, you play a vital role in our cloud cost management and optimization efforts. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, including the Enterprise Cloud Architect, and actively contribute to building data models and reports that support our cloud cost management strategies. 5+ years of experience with one or more public/private cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.). Experience with capacity forecasting, cloud cost optimization techniques, financial reporting, and workflow management in a large service operations environment. Understanding of cloud providers, platforms, and configurations and familiarity with workload usage/consumption patterns on the cloud. Good understanding of billing on cloud platforms (including the impact of usage patterns on TCO). Ability to support agile decision making across multiple cloud services, with short-cycle analytics and problem-solving, in collaboration with senior stakeholders. Ability to develop effective reporting schemes/metrics in coordination with senior stakeholders to provide insights into cloud costs and facilitate cost management. Ability to liaise with multiple senior stakeholders (across IT, finance, business functions) and proactively identify opportunities for service improvement, aligning cloud cost strategies with their specific needs. Demonstrated skills in working across multi-functional teams to bring increased business value through collaboration, alignment of diverse needs, and adherence to overarching cloud cost management goals. * Good communication and interpersonal skills.
