Please have a look and let me know if you have any suitable candidates Role : DevSecOps Technical Architect Location : Onsite in NJ, FL, GA, CT H1 wont work Candidates Must Have: DevSecOps Architect or Lead AWS Azure Terraform Certifications Job Description: The ideal candidate will work on a wide variety of interesting technical problems, operate at scale in an environment with over an exabyte of data, have opportunities to green field solutions, and operate with both autonomy and empowerment from senior leadership. Prior experience as a security focused systems administrator is required, the candidate must have experience and demonstrate capability in this domain. This person must have effective communication and project management skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES A ND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure Network Security tooling and platforms operate and perform at optimal levels. Experience with Mercuri and Cisco required. Provide security centric guidance in the planning, engineering, and monitoring of the network security systems. Identifying, monitoring, defining requirements of network security tooling across the enterprise. Provide security centric guidance in the configuration and implementation of intrusion detection systems and firewalls. Perform regular security and health assessments in the network security tooling. to identify vulnerabilities in the network infrastructure. Provide guidance and support to IT Teams in implementing networking security policies and procedures to ensure all systems are secure. Maintain and develop engineering and security documentation. Plan and execute security engineering initiatives. Work with stakeholders to refine the acceptance criteria of security objectives. Provide security centric guidance during design and maintenance. Iterate on security guidelines, raising expectations for new and existing infrastructure. Performs other security related duties as assigned Limited off-hours support is required (On-Call rotation) Limited travel may be required. GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Experience with Network Security tooling (e.g, Wireshark, Nessus, Snort) Experience with Network Security Architecture, Design and Implementation. Great Understanding of Network Security Tools and Technologies used in Enterprise On-prem, Cloud and Hybrid Clouds environments. Good Understanding of Intrusion Detection, Threat, and Vulnerability Management. Experience with network and security compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS) Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of network security configurations. Understanding of Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Cloudformation) Experience Host-based security controls (e.g., IPTables, Mod_security, HIDS, FIM) Understanding of Configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet, Salt, Ansible, Chef) Virtualization technologies (e.g., KVM, OpenStack, OVirt, VMware, Hyper-V) Track, manage and resolve incidents and requests using a ticket system. Request, Incident and Change Management practices. Strong leadership skills to mentor junior team members and lead projects.
