Sr. Network Security Lead L4  - Day 1 ONSITE

Cary, NC 

Contract role

13 -18 Years of experience in Network Security

Pls check with the candidate if they have exp. on this :

1.Design (Architect) and/or Implementation (Engineering) in Network Security

2.Have managed a team of security engineers

3.Directly interfaced with the customer

L4- Network Security

The L4 would be leading the implementation, design & Level 4 support for steady state team. Candidate should have in depth experience in handling complex Network Security design & implementation. Candidate should be strong in understanding SLA, KPI, PI, Reporting requirements. Design, Implement & manage solution to meet the contract requirements.

Skills Required: (13 -18 Years of experience in Network Security)

Skill Required- Network Security, Service Management.

Primary Skill- Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Proxy, VPN, URL filtering

Secondary Skill- Proxy & Webgateway, Routing, Switching & Remote Access.

Desired Certification CISSP, CISM.

Thorough understanding on Network Security technologies and strong knowledge in TCP/IP routing & switching.

Strong Leadership skills.

Excellent documentation skill (Architecture diagram, flow creation)

Proactive in engaging with customers and other internal teams.

Develop resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity.

High level of initiative, drive, motivation, leadership, problem solving, communication, collaboration, creativity, Customer service, quality awareness, and time management skills

Expert technical skills in managed security devices

Knowledge on ITIL process.

Responsibilities

Overall Service management for projects.

Governance of day-to-day Service deliverables (SLA/KPI/ITSM Queue Management/ Health Monitoring).

Accountable for all account level updates / early warning on any customer escalation, dissatisfaction to internal leadership.

Identify areas of improvement and track them to closure.

Review the agreed customer reports for accuracy before the same is distributed to customers.

The ability to work in a shift work environment (7x24x365)
