Job Description: Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOpsSec Professional to join our team in Alpharetta, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices and a deep understanding of security principles. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our software development and deployment processes while also contributing to the efficiency and reliability of our DevOps pipeline. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the DevOps process. Design, implement, and maintain security measures in the CI/CD pipeline. Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans. Develop and maintain scripts in Java, Python, or JavaScript to automate security testing and monitoring. Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities and incidents. Monitor and analyze system logs to detect security issues. Implement and enforce security policies and best practices. Provide guidance and training to development and operations teams on security best practices. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging security threats. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in DevOps and security practices. Strong programming and scripting skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript. Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with security tools such as vulnerability scanners, intrusion detection systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions. Understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are a plus. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
