Job Title: Project Manager Requirement: Data Engineer with PM Job Location: Santa Clara, CA Responsibilities: Project Execution and Governance * Create comprehensive cross functional project plan to deliver on Data Engineering commitments * Assess sequence of project tasks and advise management of concerns * Track deadlines, deliverables, resources, and timelines throughout the projects * Hold stakeholders accountable; conduct team meetings to provide status updates and identify and resolve issues * Identify and escalate gaps in plans or blockers to execution based on prior experience partnering with Product Management * Adapt plans based on evolving needs, conditions or issues that may arise and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery aligned with the stated project goals * Ensure contingency plans are defined in advance and ready to be implemented with the appropriate lead time if necessary * Participate with the implementation of policies, tools and processes as needed Project Prioritization and Portfolio Alignment: * Balance delivery (outcomes with refinement) and communicate priorities internally and to leadership * Create a project dashboard to highlight risks and dependencies across projects * Inform project teams and senior leaders where resources are currently being placed and recommend changes to avoid resourcing gaps * Create standard reports to share appropriate information with IT and Business leadership * This role will work with the senior IT leadership of the organization thereby understanding their vision and translating it into actionable insights for the it organization * Analyzing the data pertaining to the projects and operations and provide meaningful insights in the form of reports and status updates to the leadership team .
