Role: Azure Engineer lead (Healthcare Domain) Location: Long beach, CA (Remote work is allowed and subcon should be ready to support in weekends, if required) Duration: 9+ months Job Description: Qualifications Basic Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education. At least 8 years of experience with Information Technology with minimum 3 year experience in Azure PaaS services, and Kubernetes. Technical Skills Strong experience with IaaS and PaaS services microservices architecture, and managed container service in Azure Knowledge of Security, Virtual Networking Azure Automation Azure Backup and Site Recovery Services. Responsibilities Work closely with the application SMEs and other stakeholders from client team to gather requirements, understand current application landscape and provide support for Azure PaaS services or container platform for application transformation POC and Foundation build for new PaaS services. Highlight blockers or dependencies to the project managers and other stakeholders and ensure that any changes to requirements impacting the solution architecture are called out immediately Provide updates on project activities and status to project managers and other relevant stakeholders Infrastructure-as-Code DevOps automation for deploying infrastructure services and application components Provide updates on Azure activities and status to managers and other relevant stakeholders Preferred Azure Certification - Azure Administration / DevOps Engineer / Developer Knowledge of key Azure services - Azure App Service, Azure Data Factory, Datalake, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Purview, SQL PaaS, VM, Storage, Azure SQL, vNet, Redis Cache, Resource Manager, Azure Diagnostics/ OMS, Traffic Manager, Azure CDN, Azure Notification Hubs, Azure Identity and Access Management, Infrastructure as Code etc. On premise / other cloud providers to Azure cloud migration using cloud migration tools like ASR/Cloud Endure etc. Cloud strategy assessment and definition. Key Skills: CI and CD using Azure DevOps, ARM templates, Jenkins, Ansible, Python, Shell scripting, Change management, Azure Cloud knowledge and prod support activities Understanding and experience on handling of servers like IIS, Tomcat, Apache Defining deployment standards for development team & reviewing delivered build packages for validating the required standards, Automation Architect Understand Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle process. Understanding of container technology and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
