https://shorturl.at/zCvmO https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=716709&uid= From: Amit, SUS ap@susinfotek.com Reply to: ap@susinfotek.com Position: Production Support Engineer (Datapower) Location: Dallas TX or Buffalo Grove IL work onsite 3x per week Duration: 6-12+months CTH potentially Phone and skype must have: Must have current and recent experience working in a Production support environment, not a developer that does production support Must have Data Power experience Must have APIC experience IIB (is preferred but not required) Unix/Linux experience Reason for Opening: Supporting many projects 300+ projects; all shapes and sizes Modifications and clean ups Working with external teams looking for someone who has the right attitude and aptitude for trouble shooting. the position itself is 24x7 on call support- on rotating shift, once a month for the whole week. your phone is on pager and rings when there is issue - you are expected to join ASAP to fix problem ideal candidate should be technically sound, but able to drive a call when they join the call. be able to direct people on wat to do to fix the problem. if problem is outside the application- someone with a commanding presence on the call. very technically strong so he can convince other team members to take approach they are trying to resolve. someone with good grasp on tech stack, able to trouble shoot with Splunk, app dynamics, someone who can quickly find needle in hay stack problems. Day to Day: will be App support-NOT development 25% code changes 75% troubleshooting/analysis Top skills: Minimum 7 years of experience in application support role. Must have current and recent experience working in a Production support environment, not a developer that does production support Must have Data Power experience Must have APIC experience IIB (is preferred but not required) Unix/Linux experience Must Haves: Minimum 7 years of experience in application support role or application development. Support experience of a minimum of two of the following technologies IIB, DataPower, APIC, Experience in designing, developing services and supporting using DataPower and APIC service components Must have lead experience of handling project independently and leading project task end to end. Must be strong with XML and related technologies like XSL, XPath, XQuery, XSLT Strong Working knowledge of IIB/IBM WebSphere Message Broker, IBM WebSphere MQ, working with Eclipse. Must have experience of DataPower services like multi-protocol gateways, web service proxies, firewalls Must have knowledge on SSL Handshake, DataPower proxy profile. Must have knowledge on DataPower deployment policy, UCD, SVN and GITHub Ability to understand infrastructure design documents and be able to use them to develop necessary policies, scripts and code on DataPower Experience in Design multiple services based on different standards for REST, web services, data integration techniques, messaging, and transformation engines and non-standard services (APIs). Develop and Troubleshoot message translation related issues while communicating with backend (JSON to SOAP / SOAP to JSON). A good understanding and experience of REST APIs and/or Proficiency with API protocols and schemas such as SOAP and REST Must have Troubleshooting experience in IBM DataPower and IIB from end to end. Experience working with SOAP/REST based Web Services and testing tool like SOAPUI. Strong UNIX/LINUX experience Creating and Publishing APIs in APIconnect. Knowledge on Java, Monitoring tool like Splunk and AppDynamics is an added advantage. Good communication skills, organized, multi-tasking, assertiveness are skills that will help being successful on this role.
