Role: - EWM SAP Consultant Location: - Atlanta GA, 30328 Job Type: - Long Term Job Description The incumbent will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and support of SAP Materials management, Extended warehouse management and Yard logistics modules. This resource is responsible for project deliverables including blueprints, functional and technical specifications, system configuration, testing, training and go-live support for multiple SAP templates. The Product Lead EWM and YL (Preferred) must be a subject matter expert for both processes and SAP technology. Recent Project Updates: 3-4 years of experience is good to go but must have 1 implementation experience of EWM. Implementations experience of EWM is must. Ongoing Implementations for new functionalities Project does not require/consider only production support experience Yard Logistics is preferred but not must. Required Technologies and Skills: SAP Logistics consultant with 5+ years of work experience in multiple implementations, Production Support and Enhancement projects for Automotive and Process Industries. Must have more than 3+ years experience in SAP MM, EWM processes and preferred 1- 2 years experience in SAP Yard Logistics configuration. Implementations experience from Blueprint to post implementation support. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into a solution. Strong working knowledge of MM, EWM and YL and integration with other SAP modules such SAP Plant Maintenance. Strong working knowledge of SAP MM, EWM and YL including all related master data and customizing. Must be familiar with Supply Chain business models, SAP WM and wireless technologies. Should be familiar with material handling systems and how to integrate them to SAP EWM solutions. Expertise in Configuration of Extended Warehouse Management architecture - Warehouse structure in EWM system, Basic stock management, Production Staging, Warehouse Movements, put away and Picking Strategies, Storage Unit Management, Mobile Data Entry- RF, and Bar code devices. Must be able to lead requirements gathering, preparation of functional specification document (FSD), Technical functional specification document (TFSD), outline test scenarios and define acceptance criteria. Should architect, design and implement complex configuration management solutions for all MM, EWM, YL scenarios, integration with Plant maintenance and lead the team to produce defect free product at the end of SIT. Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective. Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others. Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a positive attitude adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness.
