Job Description: The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Information Technology Division is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee and deliver complex IT projects. The successful candidate will manage projects with multiple teams and work streams, ensuring they are coordinated and delivered within aggressive schedules. Required: Minimum of 8 years of experience managing large projects. Bachelor's degree. Experience in IT infrastructure delivery, including networking, physical plant, vendor management, and site provisioning. Experience managing large, multi-stream projects. PMP or qualified under Commonwealth of Virginia Qualification Standards for IT Project Managers for Category 4 Projects. Preferred: Experience in both Agile and Waterfall project management. Agile Scrum Master certification. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Project Server). Special Instructions to Applicants: This position requires a fingerprint-based background check. PMP certification from PMI or PM certification from VITA is required - no other certification qualifies. Minimum of 10 years of experience managing large projects.
