Title: MongoDB Administrator Location: REMOTE Visa: GC/USC ONLY KEY AND MANDATORY EXP : the role IS more focused on analysis than administering the database. They need someone solely focused on performance monitoring, tuning, and capacity management. All configuration, support, installs, migrations and testing is handled by other teams so candidates don't need a lot of experience on that. the managers would not be interested in the large amount of installs, configurations, or migrations. Skills: A strong command of back-end databases SQL Server, MongoDB, Oracle, including Messaging and Web Services Scale the Database, Compute capacity, identify scaling issues and solve them A strong knowledge of Network topology, Security risks A complete understanding of software development life cycle and various performance engineering concepts like caching, scalability A broad knowledge of performance testing methodology and tools with an understanding of a wide variety of technologies and architectures Work with Product Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, and Data Engineering teams to find the optimal way to scale the infrastructure Deep dive into service vertical efficiency and apply lessons to drive horizontal efficiency initiatives Tackle the state-of-the-art hardware performance issues: Analyze and debug difficult Database server performance issues. identify bottlenecks and optimize product/service performance to improve user experience Solve hardest software performance issues: Work with software developers closely to improve code base performance (e.g. Architecture, redesign), reduce resource consumption and shorten request latency Create monitoring, reporting, data-mining tools to do performance and capacity-related tests and analysis Run capacity and performance experiments to determine scaling and utilization parameters for various service tiers Work with financial analysts, operations and engineering to perform cutting-edge technologies investigation and cost analysis Identify capacity-related issues proactively and work with systems, network, application operations and engineering teams to discover resolutions Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of experience in performance of software engineering, Database administration and Compute 5+ years of experience in coding & scripting languages such as C, C++, C #, Java, PHP, Python or Perl 5+ years of experience in TSQL,PL/SQL 5+ years of SQL Server , MongoDB Database experience 5+ years of compute administration experience 5+ years of experience in monitoring tools Vrops , SolarWinds DPS, Sentryone, Turbonomics, Dyna trace (APM) 5+ years of experience native tool Perfmon Sonali Technical Recruiter Contact Number: 571-463-9073 Email: [email protected] LARGETON INC. 13800 Coppermine Rd, Herndon, VA 20171 Disclaimer: If you are not interested in receiving our e-mails.
