Title: Azure Architect Location: Santa Clara, CA / Tampa FL (Onsite) Type: Contract Must Skill Azure, Azure Migrate , 5 years of experience in Azure migration and DevOps. As an Azure Architect, your primary responsibility will be to plan and execute the migration of on-premises applications and infrastructure to the Azure cloud platform. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure that migrations are successful, minimize downtime, and meet business requirements. Your key responsibilities will include: Analyzing on-premises environments: You will be responsible for analyzing existing on-premises environments to identify applications and infrastructure that can be migrated to Azure. This will involve assessing workloads, dependencies, and compatibility with Azure services. Designing migration plans: You will be responsible for designing migration plans that minimize downtime, maintain data integrity, and meet business requirements. This will involve creating migration plans, estimating costs, and identifying potential risks. Executing migrations: You will be responsible for executing migrations, including configuring Azure services, migrating data, and testing applications. This will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring that migrations are successful. Ensuring security and compliance: You will be responsible for ensuring that migrations are secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations. This will involve implementing security controls, performing vulnerability assessments, and creating documentation. Managing post-migration activities: You will be responsible for managing post-migration activities, including troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and training end-users. Continuously learning and improving: You will stay up to date with Azure services and best practices and continuously improve your skills and knowledge through training and certification programs. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Required Skills: Strong knowledge of Azure services and migration methodologies. Strong expertise on Azure Migrate , Azure Site recover, Azure database Migration service. Strong knowledge of TerraForm scripts and IaC Experience migrating on-premises applications and infrastructure to Azure. Experience with automation tools, such as Power, ARM , BICEP & Terraform. Devops experience will be a big plus, particularly with experience on Jenkins, Teamcity, Git, Bitbucket etc. Must have demonstrated experience in Azure policies. Must be proficient in creating Azure pipelines and troubleshoot issues. Understanding of security and compliance best practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in Azure migration engineering or a related field. Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Administrator are preferred.
