Need Local Candidates only Role: Business Analyst Location: Hybrid(Little Rock, AR ) Rate: $40-43 * LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED. * Local candidates will work a hybrid onsite/remote schedule. * Full-time remote work will be considered for the right candidate. * Remote candidates will be required to be onsite in Little Rock, Arkansas for the initial 2 weeks of the engagement for orientation, onboarding, and equipment review/setup AND the final week of the engagement to return state-issued equipment and complete project closure and separation tasks. . * Resources will be provided a state laptop in which all work must be performed. The resource must have stable network connectivity and a secure work location that is not a shared or common area. * Work schedule (onsite and/or remote) will be M-F 8:00 to 4:30 Central Time. Candidates should be available during these hours to participate in any phone call, online meeting, or communication with state management throughout the day. Description: This role requires the candidate to explain their findings to others in a manner in which everyone can understand and also utilize their skillset to examine data sets to make accurate conclusions and assessments. This position will work in a team environment with design guidance and oversight, such as architecture and testing. A well-qualified candidate will also possess some programming experience in addition to their analysis skillset. Duties and Responsibilities Conduct requirements gathering sessions with the customer Create requirements documentation to be used by the development team and customer testers (as needed) Assist with data analysis Assist with management of project budget and schedules Perform and participate in design and code review Identify risks and make recommendations for best practicesQualifications: Bachelors Degree in an IT related field At least 5 years of solid experience in Business Analysis Strong proficiency in providing process and requirement documentation Strong proficiency in communication with customers and team members Excellent communications skills both written and verbal Business Analysis Certification preferred.
