Job Title: eCommerce Product Data Analyst Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid) Duration: 6+ Months Contract Job Description: Job Responsibilities: 1. Data Management: Manage the organization, entry, and maintenance of product data in Oracle ERP (ERP) and SAP commerce cloud ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards. 2. Product content updates: Regularly update product information, specifications, or any other attribute to align with new product launches, design enhancements, and discontinued items. Take ownership of existing data clean-up opportunities already identified and documented. 3. Oracle ERP (R12)/SAP commerce cloud (hybris) ecosystem: Good understanding of data management in Oracle R12 and SAP commerce cloud. Ability to extract, manipulate and report data from these systems. Working knowledge of using Impex in SAP commerce cloud. 4. eCommerce data syndication: Good understanding of best practices for data syndication between Oracle R12 and SAP commerce cloud. 5. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks on product data entries to ensure information integrity and troubleshoot any inaccuracies or discrepancies. 6. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data management processes, improve data accuracy, and streamline workflows. 7. Industry Compliance: Stay informed about industry standards and best practices related to product data management in eCommerce business of similar industries. 8. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross functional teams and external vendors to understand their specific product data needs and collaborate on effective solutions. 9. Recommendations: Providing actionable recommendations based on data analysis to guide product development decisions and strategies. Skills: 1. Data analysis and interpretation 2. Expert in Microsoft Excel, able to write advanced queries in VBA for data analysis and manipulation. 3. Oracle R12 ability to write advanced queries in SQL for querying, reporting and data manipulation. 4. SAP commerce cloud ability to use SAP ImpEx to query, format and update data (SQL) 5. Proficiency in data entry, data manipulation, data analysis, testing, maintenance, and storage 6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 7. Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. 8. Knowledge of industry-specific data standards. 9. Knowledge of data standards for B2B, B2C and B2B2C models. 10. Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy. 11.
