The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with DataStage, Unix scripting, and SQL databases to streamline data processes and enhance business intelligence. As a DataStage Developer, you will play a key role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights, contributing to the overall success of our projects. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into ETL processes using IBM DataStage. Develop, test, and deploy ETL jobs to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target databases. Create and optimize Unix scripts to automate data processes and enhance system efficiency. Write complex SQL queries to manipulate and transform data, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Perform data analysis and validation to identify data discrepancies and implement necessary corrections. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL processes, Unix scripts, and SQL queries. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of ETL solutions with existing systems and applications. Document ETL processes, Unix scripts, and SQL code for reference and future enhancements. Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance skills and contribute to continuous process improvement. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience working with IBM DataStage for ETL development and data integration. Strong proficiency in Unix scripting for automation and process optimization. Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database performance. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data normalization. Experience with scheduling tools and version control systems is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
