Here are some skills we are looking for in a candidate: 5+ years experience in software development with C++ 3+ years experience in modeling hardware or in low level (interfacing with hardware) software development Experience with multithreaded programming Excellent debugging skills with Visual Studio or GDB. Modeling experience with one or more of these: RISC CPUs, GPUs, DMA, PCIe, NVMe, image video decoders, networking controllers. Computer engineering and X86 Architecture Low level Hardware knowledge is preferable. Exposure to Python will add value.
