Position : Healthcare Business Consultant with BIG 4 management consulting organization Location: Remote - might have to travel once in a while Type of hire: Contract Job Description: Mandatory Skills: 5 to 10 years of experience working in a healthcare organization providers or payors 2+ years of experience working in a management consulting organization (big 4 preferred) 5+ years of Healthcare experience in any of the following: Government Programs, PBM, Clinical Health Management, Core Administer Delivery, Program Management, Product Management, or Network Management 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Operational business process improvement, business process analysis, benchmark analysis or workflow analysis Ability to work on claims with different LOBs such as Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid etc Good understanding on the lifecycle of claims adjudication Possess good exposure on the various claim functionalities such as Edits, COBs, claims adjustments, Episodes etc. Exposure to Facets claims adjudication is an advantage Exposure to ITS claims and duals is an advantage Job Description: The Healthcare Business Consultant will be a part of Digital Consulting team and work on strategic engagements with various clients. The candidate will use strong strategic and business acumen to work closely with clients in the Healthcare domain, thus a strong background in Healthcare combined with a good understanding of the various business functions is critical to this role. Ability to conduct discovery workshops with clients to uncover problem areas Extract insights from these workshops and meetings and build a business case Able to articulate and present the business case to an executive audience Define processes and suggest improvements along with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and end-user training Business requirements development, analysis, gap identification and work flows design In addition the below skills would be good to have for this role: Project Coordination / Management: documentation, meeting facilitation, project planning Data Management: data analysis and financial analysis Business development and revenue growth Defines and documents business and IT system processes. Models AS-IS and TO-BE processes. Analyze business workflow and system needs for conversions and migrations; assists in data mapping. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business processes and associated IT application requirements.
