Job Description:

Continually monitor the Application Systems and components to identify issues and provide operational status to the appropriate groups and track such issues to Resolution and closure.

Manage Event, Availability, Capacity, and Performance for the Enterprise Compute components.

Review the monitoring tools used to monitor the Enterprise Compute components and provide recommendations to optimize or improve the tools -SolarWinds.

working knowledge of SolarWinds NPM, NCM, NTA, VMAN, DPA, IPAM

Establish system monitoring and alerting thresholds (e.g., utilization, capacity) to track Enterprise Compute system components (e.g., servers, storage, databases) performance in accordance with Service Level Requirements

MUST have good understanding on SolarWinds implementation, configuration, and integration with third party tools. also performed migration and upgrade of SolarWinds environment

Develop, maintain, and continuously improve on monitoring of and response to alerts for Enterprise Compute in-scope components.

Implement approved scripts and use on an ongoing basis to ensure the health of Application Systems

We need someone who have experience managing and developing solutions with our Tools.

SolarWinds expertise a must.

ServiceNow experience, VMWare tools and NetApp reporting, PowerBI (reporting)IS MUST

Ability to create manage tools, create dashboards, reporting and provide monitoring.

Added ability to perform some vCenter/VMWare administration.

Each associated Command Center operative will be familiar with Customer business imperatives, technologies, and support processes.

They will be responsible for progressing to completion.

             Troubleshoot, diagnose, and analyze the issues and implement corrective solutions related to Enterprise Compute Services

             Utilize remote desktop to troubleshoot L1/L1.5 issues in the Enterprise Compute environment and escalate to L2/L3 teams, as required

             Proactively identify, report, troubleshoot, and escalate capacity, availability, and performance issues as Incidents and Problems in accordance with City Policies, and Processes

             Provide preventive measures and system self-healing capabilities to prevent capacity, performance, and availability issues from causing an impact and becoming an Incidents and/or Problem

             Document the activities, situational facts, communication, troubleshooting and update the knowledge base during troubleshooting activities

             Soft IMACD activities, training, and job-aids for new systems

             Vendor coordination with third-party firm to manage the Asset Management lifecycle."
