As a Sr Software Developer on the Data Integrations team at Athene, you will be accountable for participating in design, building, and maintaining software applications to meet the needs of our business. You will be developing in Python, using Postgres databases, and running our applications in the AWS Cloud. As a Sr Software Developer on the Data Integrations team at Client, you will be accountable for participating in design, building, and maintaining software applications to meet the needs of our business. You will be developing in Python using Postgres databases running our applications in the AWS Cloud. 5+ years of application development experience using Python and relational databases. Strong knowledge of large-scale internal software applications or related technologies. Experience with Agile Scrum development methodologies. Background in Insurance/Financial Industries is preferred. Experience with Enterprise Cloud transformation efforts is a plus. Cloud certification(s) preferred, preferably AWS Leverage Cloud-native architecture components including Containers, immutable infrastructure, Microservices, etc., to build highly available and fault tolerant applications.
