Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications. Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

API works (if theyre doing Restful or microservices)

MUST HAVE skillsets:

7-8 years experience developing in Scala for data processing -https://www.mygreatlearning.com/blog/scala-tutorial

Experience trouble shooting dependency issues

Experience developing microservices and APIs

Experience developing applications/services that pull

Experience with implementing and maintaining continuous integration and delivery pipelines (Gitlab CI/CD) to build, test, and deploy artifacts

Experienced with object oriented with Scala or Java with at least the knowledge of and desire to work with Scala and functional practices

Nice to Have Skillsets:

Nice to have experience with some or all the following: Spark or SQL, AWS (EMR/Glue/S3/Lambda), terraform and GraphQL
