Position: Senior Firmware Engineer (Hybrid) Location: Los Angeles, CA(3 Days onsite & 2 Days Remote) Duration: 6+ months Note --- * Local would be better but relocation is also fine * Job Description: You will develop firmware for active implantable medical device technology. Apply engineering and scientific principles to the evaluation and solution of technical problems. Your work will involve all phases of product development from concept through qualification and field testing. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE : BS / MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Minimum 5 + years experience. Experience with firmware development from concept to production to maintenance. Experience creating and maintaining automation test environment to support CI/CD development model.SW language familiarization such as Embedded C/C++ , Python (automation env), and unit integration test/coverage frameworks. Experience with configuration management and issue tracking and resolution. Experience with troubleshooting firmware and test systems. Medical device experience is a plus.
