JOB DESCRIPTION As a Senior Software Engineer, you will participate in a Retail Product Team of 6-10 people and work with the team to build high-quality, usable products to customers and stakeholders. This is a Product Incubation Organization - they build automation and technology innovations throughout CVS They develop products from PoC to production in a greenfield environment. They pivot quickly away from ideas that don't work and quickly back to ideas that do work. You will help educate both business and technology personnel on the AGILE and XP development process and create products from discovery and framework through iterative development and delivery. You will also maintain a user-centered and business as priority approach in design perspective and practice. Design efficient and user-friendly software products to advance and support business needs across CVS. Your projects will be mostly greenfield and will need the ability to pivot to other projects when feedback comes in from the organization. To be successful in this role, it is important that you have a deep knowledge of web applications, and Javascript across either of the following frameworks Node.js, Django, or React. Contract Duration & Location: 1. 3-6-month C2H for USC or GC holders (primary preference) & H1-B - sponsorship will be considered 2. Locations: Irving, TX (Preferred) | Richardson, TX, (Secondary preference) [750 W John Carpenter Fwy #1200, Irving, TX 75039] 3. Hybrid: Every week for the 1st 4 weeks, after that 1 week remote, 1 week office OR depending on the team 3 days a week in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) - non-negotiable enterprise-wide policy. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES EXPERIENCE We are looking for a Python Engineer to work 60/40 frontend/backend with below experiences. We need a rockstar! - At-least 3-5 years of experience in building large-scale software applications. - Design user-based interactions through open-source & advanced architecture frameworks - Develop responsive design user interface to support in-house experimentation process build & executions. - Should be able to use databases, proxies, APIs and any third-party applications to bring seamless data exchange & integrations. - Knowledgeable of multiple front-end and backend languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, API, Django, NodeJs) - Experienced with database design & SQL language.
