Infrastructure architect with Security ,Firewall, Storage experience Location: Remote Contract LinkedIn is Mandatory Description:- Infrastructure Architect to join a highly visible and dynamic team with responsibilities to assess, plan, and deliver IT integration services to our customers. As a key member of this team, you will help architect the IT infrastructure integration of newly acquired companies, minimizing business disruption and ensuring the company is maximizing the value of acquisition through integration. In this role, you will partner with Engagement Managers/Integration Leads and be responsible for understanding the business and technical requirements of the engagement. You will translate the business and technical requirements into solutions and level-of-effort estimates for implementing those solutions. Architects will be in a consultative role with the Business and Application/DevOps teams, anticipating their needs and applying the benefit of previous experience and expertise to the engagement. The Architect will lead the overall technical solution from definition to start of implementation while collaborating with other team members and departments to support solutioning. Must have :- B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems or equivalent 6+ years of leadership and IT business integration architecture experience in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment Broad IT background with knowledge in various technologies, hosting platforms and concepts/methodologies (Not all are required) Technologies Compute, Storage, Networking, Load Balancing, Firewalls, Backups, Disaster Recovery, Monitoring, Edge Security, User Productivity Integration, Desktop technologies, Application Hosting, Call Centers and M365 Hosting Platforms Cloud (Azure/AWS) Hybrid Cloud Private Cloud Concepts/Methodologies CI/CD, DevOps, Agile Methodologies, Multi-Tier Architecture Familiar with various security/regulatory processes including standards & issues involved in multi-tier cloud or hybrid applications Ability to discuss cloud architecture and principles of modern platforms including SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, multi-tiered infrastructure, etc. Highly motivated with proven success meeting commitments in a deadline-driven environment with multiple competing priorities Demonstrated ability to influence opinion without direct managerial control Possess a strategic and critical thinking mindset while maintaining a Customer focused perspective Crisp, articulate written and verbal communication skills Nice to have :- 3+ years in a customer-facing role engaging with large high-tech organizations 3+ years of previous M&A integration experience Experience in identifying and cultivating business strategies, drivers and value principles as they apply to enterprise business transformation objectives Proven ability of developing relationships across technical, management, and executive levels Sound understanding of industry standards around data privacy, risk management, and compliance requirements Skills and abilities:- Key Competencies Can multi task and manage several projects and responsibilities Excellent people, process, communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills Highly analytical individual with a keen eye for details Able to identify / assess business needs, to analyze, prioritize, and solve problems in a service driven organization Leadership and Influence Sets high standards with achievable, goals Monitors performance to ensure that standards and goals are met Builds commitment and inspires people to do the best job possible -- both internal and external Communicates, through own behavior, and leads by example Able to effectively communicates to all levels.
