DevOps Engineer to create, maintain, support, and improve complex cloud operations for cutting edge microservice based platforms. Ideal candidates will apply their knowledge in a highly energized, fast-paced, and innovative environment while working on Toyota Connected products. Responsibilities: Contribute to full software development life cycle Write maintainable, extensible, tested code, while complying with coding standards Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility Continuously Integrate and deliver software components into a fully functional software system Facilitate end to end user testing with customers Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems Contribute to the building and management of cloud-based systems, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines. Proactively identify and contribute to solutions for performance improvements in areas including responsiveness, observability, availability, reliability, and scalability Proactively communicate with the scrum team by actively participate in meeting, following Jira and slack processes Actively reviewing ecosystem, providing input and recommendations during refinement, planning, in slack, etc Qualifications: 9+ years of software or cloud engineering experience, or total equivalent experience Ability to write clean, concise, tested, maintainable code in one or more modern programming or scripting languages followed by merge request, merge, deploy changes, test & validate Experience working in a team oriented, Agile software engineering environment using Jira/Confluence daily Hand on experience in cloud computing using AWS, Terraform, GitOps, Bash, Golang, CI/CD (we use Gitlab CI and ArgoCD), Docker, Datadog, Networking Knowledge of microservices and their value Hands on experience applying current best practices and principles in software development Ability to learn and apply new technologies, programming practices, patterns, and methods Hands on experience in CI/CD, containerization, and related concepts Hands on experience in concepts including infrastructure-as-code, provisioning, configuration management, or orchestration Analytical skills and sound judgement Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related degree) or equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications: Security experience Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform Ability to provide innovated solutions & work independently as needed Available to be on-call with the rest of the team which will also require responding to sister team requests Regards, Sam Young, Manager-Sales, (Best way to reach me is Email.) :[email protected] Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment information technology http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=744568&uid= |
