We have a urgent requirement for Sr. Java Developer position with our client. Role: Sr. Java Developer Location: Albany, New York Duration: 30 Months Client: NY State Description This position will design and implement software solutions and ensure current and new technologies are effectively integrated to fulfill the business needs. Duties This individual will be expected to participate in the following activities: Act as the primary technical liaison with technical infrastructure teams to resolve problems and implement solutions to technical issues impacting application performance. Work with the Infrastructure team to execute activities such as performance test planning and execution failure failover planning and execution, endurance testing and deployment planning and testing. Provide the analysis, design, development, and code review of enterprise applications using JAVA/JEE, JSF, Web Services and the IBM Portal/WebSphere Application development software. Perform oversight of development activities which may include data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, preparing logical database models, testing and implementation. Prepare, and/or review technical documentation such as designs, schemas, etc., as appropriate. Provide technical guidance to team of developers. Mandatory Requirements Experience (8+ Years) Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms - beyond that of a Programmer. Requirements This is an 100% Onsite 84 months experience designing and implementing highly available and scalable multitier applications using Object Oriented or Service Oriented Architecture involving data structures, algorithms, software design and design patterns. 70 months experience in creating architectural, technical designs and developing J2EE applications to run on IBM WebSphere servers. 70 months experience planning, designing, and implementing enterprise applications using JSF (Java Server Faces) 70 months experience planning, designing, and implementing solutions in using EJB 3+.
