ETL Testing Location: Tysons VA or San Antonio TX (Onsite) Contract Minimum of Ten (10) years experience Education and Experience Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field; Masters degree preferred. Minimum of Ten (10) years experience in the fields of Database & Data warehousing testing. Strong SQL testing; understanding of SQL and No SQL statements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Perform reverse engineering of data differences from databases and SQL scripts. Techniques for testing ETL data pipelines either manual or using tools. Advanced SQL skills. 7+ years of ETL testing experience. SSIS and SQL server testing experience is preferred. 3+ years of Bigdata (Hadoop, Hive, Pyspark, Python) testing experience. 2+ years of AWS and Snowflake testing experience. Proficient in Agile based delivery approach. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing test cases, performance tests, automated integration tests for the big data and ETL. Design and develop test cases for regression, performance and load tests. Execute and manage test plans and test cases for exploratory tests, acceptance tests, functional, regression, smoke, usability, performance and load. Performance tuning of end-to-end ETL integration processes. Maintain, expand and verify the existing automated test cases. Verify defects fixed by Development team. Track and report testing results and metrics using related tools. Collaborate closely with engineers to integrate testing in development and build process. Develop, maintain, and execute test plans for story validation and integration testing. Set up, perform, and report on Performance/Load Testing. Ability to respond to support-reported bugs to obtain relevant information in order to reproduce the reported issues. Additional Skills Ability to multi-task and manage various deliverables simultaneously. Problem solving skills. Team-work skills. Attention to detail.
