From: satin, Cohesive Technologies [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: Lead Software Developer (Java/Golang) Location : Plano, TX(Day one onsite) Duration : Longterm Contract Exp: Minimum 12+ years Roles & Responsibilities: Lead a team of Java/GoLang developers for applications hosted in AWS Serverless and multi-tier architecture framework for application deployed on EC2 instances. Utilize programming languages like Java, Spring, Kafka, DynamoDB, or SQL Work as part of an agile scrum team to deliver business value. Participate in design sessions to understand customers' functional needs. Perform requirements analysis and estimate work effort, code review, provide feedback, release analysis and deployment. Work with solution architect, development, and DevOps team to build quick prototypes leveraging existing or new architecture. Work with dev and support team to automate unit testing, deployment, and validation processes. Using coding standards and best practices to ensure quality. Document design documents and ensure all documentation is up to date for new product features or changes to existing product features. Identify risk and conduct mitigation plan for high priority operational issues Experiences & Qualification: Engineering Degree, Computer Science, or other technical related field experience. Hands-on development experience in GoLang technologies. Java, Spring, Spring boot, Rest API, Docker, Jenkins, AWS Cloud, GitHub/GIT, Kubernetes. At least 7 years of experience in Java EE for backend service development At least 2+ year of experience in developing Services on Kubernetes (Microservices) and Docker (Containerization) At least 5 years of experience in developing RESTful APIs using either Spring, Spring Boot or Jersey Hands-on experience working on AWS cloud platform. Good understanding of unit testing methodologies, release planning and deployment processes. Excellent analytics and communication skills. Expertise with coding and implementing back-end resultful services in AWS cloud infrastructure, RDBMS, and No-SQL databases (i.e.: AWS, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Postgres, Elastic Cache). Experience with JFrog, SonarQube, Junit or equivalent products. Experience leveraging build and deploy tools (i.e.: GitHub, XLR or any equivalent CI/CD tools). Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, if not less Position : Senior Consultant( GraphQL-Kafka-subscriptions) Location : Plano, TX (Onsite) Duration : 12 Months Contract Must Have: 12+ years of progressive engineering experience, building and scaling cloud-based SaaS products with a deep desire to stay hands-on. Experience in GraphQL subscriptions publishing updates to data in real time BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Mathematics or equivalent experience Exceptional programming skills in at least one modern object-oriented language Experience with complex architectural patterns, building APIs, microservices, event streams, and high throughput systems. 2+ years of experience in working with cloud-based platforms (preferably AWS). Appreciate and embrace transparency and see value in providing and receiving feedback. Experience & Qualifications: Guiding and mentoring skills - guiding and mentoring junior members - helping them understand technologies, the project, best practices, and in general setting them up for success. Business experience or education - understanding of basic business concepts, strategy, and decision-making. Experience in designing micro service architecture and migrating from monolithic software architecture to micro service architecture. Experience in modernization of legacy systems.
