Position: PostgreSQL DBA Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite with Hybrid) Duration: 12+ Months Contract Job Description: Experienced in maintaining large Production, UAT, QA, SIT and DEV database environments. Extensive experience in administering Oracle 19c RAC clusters on Exadata Expertise in Installation, Setup and Configuration of Oracle Goldengate for Multi-master, Uni-directional, bi-directional replication between master and failover locations Expertise in implementing RMAN backup, recovery , DB cloning procedures Extensive experience with database change implementations via Devops automation Experience in Logical and Physical Data Modeling using ERStudio Data Architect Worked extensively on Oracle Version Upgrades and Migrations. Proactive monitoring, provide and implement database and application performance tuning recommendations with the help of ADDM / AWR / ASH / SQL advisors Data transfer using Export/Import, SQL Loader utilities and data Pump. 3 to 6 years of PostgreSQL DBA experience Exceptional SQL development and performance tuning skills Experience in managing large-scale production database platforms Expertise with Postgres system metrics and optimization strategies Familiarity with system level metrics and practical use of common Linux utilities Experience in one of the following scripting languages: Python, Perl, Bash Understanding of virtualization and clustered environments Great communication skills and a passion for learning Education: At least a bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required . ---- Thanks & Regards Akilesh Kumar iTech US Inc Email : [email protected] -- Disclaimer: we respect your online privacy.
