Job Position: Architect/ Engineering Manager  

Location: SAN MATEO FOSTER, California USA Remote-( As of now 100% Remote. However, customer may ask for Hybrid type in future)  

Experience: 15 +  yrs

Job Description:

Persistent is building global sustenance team in partnership with a leader with products in Next-Gen SIEM & XDR space.

As part of this team, you will work in cross functional environment and help Customer Success team to provide proper technical assistance / bug fixes to end customers as well as work closely with Product Engineering manager & team for long term roadmap and product sustenance.

Requirements:

Experience level & Role within engagement of Architect/ Engineering Manager : 15+ years

BE in Computer Science or related disciplines.

Experience building complex systems with high performance, scalability and reliability requirements.

Experience with
distributed data processing system

Strong programming experience in Java and ability to learn Scala quickly

Strong troubleshooting skills

Self-motivated, result-oriented and strong analytical/problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Nice to Have

Experience building data processing applications using HDFS and/or MongoDB

Scala programming experience highly desirable Key Characteristics Engineering background with experience building &/or maintaining complex systems. Responsibilities

Primary responsibility to provide bug fixes, issue resolution and sustenance activities for complex product / module deployments (SaaS / On-Prem / cloud or hybrid).

Handle customer escalations by working with the customer and Customer Success team closely to resolve production issues.

Participate in all phases of software development including design, implementation, testing, bug fixing & Support.

Optimize software for performance and scalability.

Collaborate with distributed and cross-functional teams to ensure successful reporting & delivery of the product fixes / releases / patches.

Timely and thorough responses / updates on assigned tasks / issues. Update tracking tools and follow processes diligently to ensure quality delivery at individual / team level.

Ready
to provide On-call support to L2/CS team on blocker/Critical cases. Provide technical assistance in extended time slots or weekends as per critical business needs (on rotation basis only). For Sr members-

Review work accomplished by peers / team members. Assist & mentor junior or new team members

Define best practices for team and help establishing standard processes to improvise individual / team performance.
