Job Description: The candidate is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of our growing physical and Azure cloud infrastructure. Candidate will be part of a growing team of engineers tasked with the responsibility of providing scalable, maintainable, highly available architecture that meets the need of a diverse hybrid work force. The individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our network operations are both efficient and secure. Qualifications Minimum 4 years of Azure networking experience. Minimum 4 years of experience managing firewalls and switches (Cisco) Deep understanding of Azure networking components like Virtual Networks, VPN Gateways, Azure ExpressRoute, Azure Traffic Manager, Load Balancers, Network Security Groups, and Azure Firewall. Experience with network security best practices, firewalls, and other security appliances, both within Azure and on-premises environments. In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of networking systems such as LAN, firewalls, routers, and switches Proficiency in IP protocols, routing, switching, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, and other foundational networking concepts. Experience with Zscaler or similar SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) solutions. Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) professional certification or Microsofts Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is preferred. Minimum 3 year of Experience with Intune. Responsibilities Design, maintain, and troubleshoot virtual networks, subnets, and network interfaces in Azure. Propose, implement, and manage Azure Network Security Groups and Azure Firewall to secure network resources. Collaborate with the security team to integrate other security tools and practices within the Azure environment. Work in partnership with other teams to ensure seamless integration of networking components with other Azure services, such as Azure Blob Storage, Databricks Lakehouse, etc. Utilize Azure Network Watcher and other monitoring tools to monitor the health and performance of network resources. Maintain, troubleshoot, and configure branch Meraki networks. Maintain on premise firewalls as well as all Cisco switches. Troubleshoot networking issues, ranging from connectivity to performance problems. Monitor bandwidth usage, network performance metrics, and set up alerts for potential issues. Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues. Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure. Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the companys security team. Provides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance. Perform weekend and after-hours work, as well as after-hours emergency work, as required.
