The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing, designing, implementing, and maintaining our ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) stack infrastructure. This role requires expertise in Java programming and a deep understanding of log analysis, data visualization, and system monitoring. Responsibilities: Working experience on built search features in Java application that integrates with elastic search 1. ELK Stack Development: Design, implement, and maintain ELK stack solutions for log and event data analysis. 2. Java Development: Develop and integrate Java applications and services with the ELK stack. 3. Log Ingestion: Configure Logstash for parsing and ingesting logs from various sources into Elasticsearch. 4. Data Visualization: Create and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Kibana. 5. Monitoring and Alerting: Set up and manage monitoring, alerting, and anomaly detection systems using ELK stack components. 6. Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize Elasticsearch clusters and Logstash pipelines for efficiency and scalability. 7. Data Analysis: Analyze log and event data to identify patterns, anomalies, and insights to improve system performance and security. 8. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, system administrators, and software developers, to troubleshoot issues and improve system reliability. 9. Documentation: Document ELK stack configurations, best practices, and troubleshooting procedures. 10. Security: Implement security best practices to protect data and ensure compliance with industry standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as an ELK Stack Developer, with a strong focus on Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana. Proficiency in Java programming and Java-based frameworks. Familiarity with distributed computing and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, P). Experience with log management, monitoring, and alerting tools. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Understanding of DevOps practices and tools is a plus. Elasticsearch certification or relevant industry certifications are a plus.
