Passport number is mandatory for submission for all the visa holders except US Citizens Title: SDET Lead/Architect with Cypress Location: Mclean, VA Implementation Partner: Hexaware Responsibilities: Architect and Design Test Frameworks: Create and maintain scalable and efficient test automation frameworks using Cypress, ensuring test coverage across various application components. Test Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement a comprehensive testing strategy, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing. Test Planning: Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both new features and existing functionality, ensuring comprehensive test coverage. Test Execution: Execute automated tests, analyze test results, and troubleshoot issues to identify defects and performance bottlenecks. Continuous Integration: Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing, ensuring rapid feedback on code changes. Test Environment Management: Set up and maintain test environments, including test data management and configuration management. Performance Testing: Collaborate with performance engineers to conduct load and performance testing using Cypress to identify and address performance issues. Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to SDET and QA teams, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to test automation and Cypress. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an SDET or Automation Architect, with a strong focus on Cypress. In-depth knowledge of Cypress, including writing custom commands, handling complex test scenarios, and debugging. Proficiency in programming languages like Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or other scripting languages. Strong expertise in test automation frameworks and tools. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
