[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Title: Multi-Cloud Architect Location: Remote Visa: Any visa except H1 Duration: EOY, could go longer, but no promises End Client: Interview process: 1 with RM, 1 tech screening with WWT, and final with the client Responsibilities: Notes: This is a very strategic need for Florida Blue, and WWT is the exclusive supporting this. Need a very high end architect with a multi-cloud background. This person will be working with 7-8 other architects across the enterprise. Will be the SME on strategy as theyre moving to the cloud. Someone who can recommend the best platform, create the strategy and the roadmap. Florida Blue is looking at developing a Multi-Cloud Architecture Framework. We are at the initial phases of establishing a Multi-Cloud Infrastructure that includes our On-Premises Data Center and cloud providers like AWS and Azure. Florida Blue is looking for resources to be augmented within our Enterprise Architecture team focused exclusively on this initiative. These resources should demonstrate prior implementation experience and ample subject matter expertise around Multi-Cloud. Their responsibilities include but are not limited to contributing to deliverables like: 1. Multi-Cloud Architecture: Develop a detailed architecture framework that outlines the integration patterns and components required to connect our on-premises infrastructure with AWS and Azure. 2. Workloads: Define how web and service application workloads will be distributed across AWS, Azure, and on-premises, considering scalability, load balancing, and high availability. 3. Data Integration: Design data integration strategies, including data replication strategies, data synchronization, and data movement between clouds and on-premises. Address data security and encryption requirements for data at rest and in motion. 4. Data Lake and Data Warehouse: Determine the architecture for our multi-cloud Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions, including data storage, processing, and analytics capabilities. 5. Security and Compliance: Ensure that the architecture complies with security best practices and industry standards. Define identity and access management (IAM) policies, encryption mechanisms, data access privileges, and compliance controls. 6. Monitoring and Management: Develop a plan for monitoring, managing, and optimizing the multi-cloud environment, including logging, performance monitoring, and cost management. 7. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Define disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for the multi-cloud environment to minimize downtime and data loss. 8. Documentation: Provide comprehensive documentation of the multi-cloud architecture, including diagrams, procedures, and best practices. The resources must have 1. 5+ years of experience as an architect who has led and participated in successful Multi-Cloud Implementations 2. Cloud Certified with AWS or Azure, preferably both. 3. Exposure to Lakehouse / Snowflake like architecture is a huge plus.
