Should have networking, network of gear equipment, familiar with Firepower, cisco firewalls and cisco security. They will be maintaining firewalls, nexus switches and updating vmware ESX environment to make sure configurations are correct. They will also work on new builds for FirePOWER applications/appliances, Dark Fibre with CrownCastle to gathering their locations (point to point, their private network between the two locations layer 2/3), adding new firewalls and routers. Responsibilities: Provide in-depth, high-level support of network infrastructure and services Document network architecture, concept designs, network change implementation plans, and risk assessments. Set up and configuration of remote access solutions such as Cisco AnyConnect and site-to-site VPNs. Assist with designing, operating, and configuring Cisco hardware, including Cisco Nexus, Cisco ASA firewalls, and Cisco FirePower. Maintain and add new firewalls/routers on private networks between various locations. Update and configure VMware ESX environment. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed. Monitoring of web security gateways, perimeter security, network access controls, endpoint security. Monitor and implement IDS/IPS systems and policies Identify and communicate gaps, weaknesses and new capabilities in the vulnerability management program Qualifications and Skills: 5+ years of experience with Cisco networking: Experience with Cisco Switches, Routers, Firewalls, and APs (layer-2 and layer-3). Experience with Cisco Firepower and ASA legacy configurations highly preferred. Proficiency with Cisco IOS commands, router, and switch setups, IOS backup, and recovery. Experience with Cisco Umbrella, IDS/IPS, and Cisco ISE IP Routing, MPLS, LAN Switching, MPLS (L2/L3 VPN/VRF-Lite) and MPLS-TE, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, EIGRP, inter-as routing, QoS, Ipv6, IP SLAs, RPVST+, MST, PIM, DMVPN, GETVPN, NetFlow. Expert level (CCIE preferred) in Route & Switch or Service Provider. Data Center Platforms: Nexus 9K and Nexus Family a plus. Virtualization exposure: VMWare ESX preferred. Prior Scripting, Python, and/or Linux experience highly desired.
