Role: - Solutions Architect Location: - Hybrid -Shakopee, MN Job Type: - Long Term Contract No H1B Job Description TECHNICAL SKILLS: Integration experience with CRM and ERPs. CRM: Salesforce or MuleSoft ERP: SAP or Dynamics 365 Hands-on architecture experience ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops Enterprise architecture standards, data architecture standards, EA and data governance frameworks, and system integration standards. Conducts business reviews and assesses current and potential applications. Develops and maintains the integration technology stack to include commercial platforms. Maintains modeling and naming standards and data normalization, metadata management, and source to target data mapping documentation, using industry standard tools. Provides expert advice to project teams on the use of integration technology, data architecture and modeling, and system architecture, including integration best practices. Oversees critical steps within the Software Development Life Cycle that impact enterprise-wide architecture standards. Provides oversight in standards adherence through reviews of project work including detailed technical specifications and application code. Works with project teams to define the requirements for integration of their projects into the enterprise architecture. Leads internal resources and augmented or externally sourced team members. Assists with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution. Communicates project status to various levels of management. Oversees the technology and standards for version control on integration platforms. Partners with leaders of other disciplines to ensure proposed solutions align with information, technology, infrastructure, business, and security architectures. Develops and manages relationships with key security vendor partners and resources including MuleSoft, NMB, other ISVs, and VTEX/Trika for eCommerce. Builds and leads a high-performing team of integration and API development professionals. Sets a high bar for platform performance by keeping abreast of industry best practices, ensuring that self-development is prioritized to meet the changing needs of the business. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the company and operational needs. MINIMUM EDUCATION & WORK REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in business or IT, or equivalent experience required. 5+ years of relevant work experience in enterprise system services. Experience working with APIs from commercial software applications (CRM or ERP). Experience with web services, SOAP, JSON, XML Schema Definition (XSD), Extensible Markup Language (XML), business process automation, and orchestration tools and software. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: An experienced self-starter and builder, with strong collaboration skills to work with a diverse cross-functional team. Experience in all phases of project life cycle with a demonstrative history executing effective project management. Proven technical knowledge and skills in enterprise architecture, systems architecture, integration architecture, and data architecture standards, frameworks, and practices. Technical expertise in solution design and development, vendor management, enterprise application support, in addition to strong business understanding and project management. Experience with the implementation of Continuous Integration practices and tooling to support automated build, delivery, and regression tests of commercial software. Proven experience in managing relationships with vendors/consultants, IT teams, and internal stakeholders. A passion for all things tech with a drive to experiment with new technologies to see where they can benefit the business. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building skills, and ability to achieve results without direct reporting relationships. Experience selecting and working with vendors and third-party consultants including responsibility of related deliverables. Promotes a positive, collaborative, transparent, and respectful atmosphere where work is executed productively and with responsible stewardship of company resources. Proven ability to comfortably move from strategic to tactical, responding to the demands of the business. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, where effective decision making and rapid iteration are essential, and priorities shift frequently.
