Role: Java Architect Location: Albany, New York Duration: 30 Months Client: NY State Job Description Support the Department of Health and Health Commerce System infrastructure with expertise in physical security, IT security architecture, infrastructure platforms, application security, monitoring, tool administration/management and related business processes and workflows Duties Daily Tasks will include but not limited to the following: Help architect, develop and debug Java applications to support Health Commerce System. Create diagrams and documentation for application and infrastructure architecture. Design and implement security features like Single Sign, OAUTH on and Multi Factor Authentication Design and implement services to be used in a platform as a service architecture. Mandatory Requirements Experience (8+ Years) Defines the architecture of a computerized system (i.e., a system composed of software and hardware) in order to fulfill certain requirement, including a breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions and interfaces (including with the environment, especially the user), and the technologies and resources to be used in the design. Required Skills: This is an 100% Onsite 84 months experience in application design, coding, testing, maintenance and debugging skills and experience with Java 8/J2EE distributed application development including Angular JS and javascript libraries 84 months Experience in the design, implementation and deployment of Rest services and domain model Microservices, Spring Boot, and API gateway 84 Months Experience as lead technical architect on technical projects that have required a thorough understanding of systems architecture, engineering, administration, configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and preventative maintenance and security procedures. 48 months experience with developing within a cloud environment, including knowledge on cloud infrastructure using AWS 36 Months of application deployment and monitoring using continuous Integration systems and application monitoring tools.
