Duration: 12 months Visas: no h1b Interview Process: 1st round is virtual with technical screening with the squad lead and developer. 2nd round is in-person meet & greet, soft skill focused, conversational with the team and hiring manager. Description: What you'll do Collaborates with leaders, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads and other developers, along with internal customers, to understand requirements and develop needs according to business requirements Maintains and enhances existing enterprise services, applications, and platforms using domain driven design and test-driven development Troubleshoots and debugs complex issues; identifies and implements solutions Creates detailed project specifications, requirements, and estimates Researches and implements new technologies to enhance current processes, security, and performance Supports the development of coding standards and adheres to best practices and security guidelines Works closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs All you'll need for success Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training 3-5 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications in hosted production environments 3-5 years of professional, design, and open-source experience Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training 3-5 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience Airline Industry experience All you'll need for success Skills, Licenses & Certifications Proficiency in Full Stack Development Proficiency and demonstrated experience in the following technologies: o Microsoft Technologies: .net , C# , web APIs , .net core, entity framework o Database and persistence frameworks: MongoDB, Cosmos, sql server, Object/Relational Mapping, Query performance tuning o Cloud-based development: Azure, AKS o Web Services: REST/SOAP (JSON/WSDL/XML) o Front-end: Angular, React o Build/deployment tools: Azure devops, terraform o Other Dev Ops Toolchain: Xamarin UITest and Cypress for automation testing, Dynatrace for monitoring o Other: Javascript, typescript, nodejs Proficiency in object-oriented design techniques and principles Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Experience in Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM Experience in DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment Additional notes The team is currently working on a legacy application called Gate-Reader which is the application used to scan boarding tickets as passengers board the plane. This is a desktop application so if candidates have experience with desktop, then that is preferred. Skills/Tech Stack: SQL Queries and performance tuning SQL Databases .NET & C# Basic knowledge of angular & react.
