Familiarity with SAP Basis to support setting up workstations, printers, checking status on SAP. Other deployments are Siemens MES Solutions. Need a mix of Linux, Windows & SAP Basis administration. Preferably 80% Linux & 20% Basis Linux certifications will be preferred JOB DESCRIPTION Application Technology Specialist will be responsible for the implementation, deployment, and administration of various applications to include SAP. This individual will be using manual actions and a wide variety of automation tools including Servicenow and Solarwinds. The individual will be responsible for developing and documenting application landscapes, policies, procedures, standards, and templates for system administration tasks as well as for implementing projects. They will own issue resolution and troubleshooting for multiple environments and applications. Pro-actively put procedures in place to prevent and reduce the severity of outages. Participate in production support activities and work to resolve technical issues with technical know-how with clear communications and root cause analysis. Work collaboratively with various application management and project teams. Responsible for the implementation, service level and life-cycle management of Enterprise Solutions Portfolio 160 SAP and non-SAP Applications. This individual will be responsible for the entire application landscape of multiple applications including maintaining the development and quality assurance environments. Enforce company change control policies, patch management and information security standards and procedures. Respond quickly and effectively to production issues and taking responsibility for seeing those issues through resolution. Work with the various infrastructure and application teams to ensure the service levels of the assigned applications or projects.
