We're seeking an experienced Business Analyst who specializes in front office trading systems, particularly in FX, Derivatives, Credit, and Rates. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing invaluable insights and driving excellence in our trading operations. Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst with deep subject matter expertise in front office trading systems, specifically within the domains of FX, Derivatives, Credit, and Rates. You will play a pivotal role in understanding the complex trading needs of our business, collaborating with various stakeholders, and translating those needs into actionable requirements and solutions. Your local presence in the New York and New Jersey area is essential as you'll be working closely with our trading teams and technology professionals. Key Responsibilities: Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the go-to expert in front office trading systems, specializing in FX, Derivatives, Credit, and Rates, and stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with traders, business users, and technology teams to identify and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with trading system capabilities. Analysis and Documentation: Analyze complex trading workflows and processes, documenting them comprehensively, and creating clear and concise business requirement documents. Solution Design: Contribute to the design of solutions and enhancements to front office trading systems, considering functional and non-functional requirements. Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop test cases, perform system testing, and validate that the trading systems meet business requirements and regulatory standards. Change Management: Work closely with trading desk teams to manage and communicate changes, addressing any issues that may arise during implementation. Training and Support: Provide training and support to users to ensure efficient utilization of trading systems, and assist in issue resolution. Compliance and Regulation: Stay informed about relevant regulatory requirements and work to ensure that our trading systems remain compliant. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the financial industry, with a focus on front office trading systems. Strong knowledge of FX, Derivatives, Credit, and Rates trading. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in data analysis and a solid understanding of trading workflows. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic trading environment. Local candidates in the New York and New Jersey area are preferred.
