From: Ajay, Guardian Info Group [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Title: Java Lead and Technical Lead Visa : H1b, GC & USC Location: Alpharetta, GA (Day1 onsite) Responsibilities: BS or MS degree in a STEM major or equivalent job experience required 9+ years Java Development Experience that includes the following experience requirements REST API Development Event Driven / Microservices Driven Development Angular Bootstrap Front End Development 3 + NO SQL or similar experience 4+ years UI development (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, AngularJS, Angular 4/5 and Bootstrap) Source code control management systems (e.g. SVN/Git, Subversion) and build tools like Maven Big Data, Postgres, Oracle, MySQL, NoSQL databases (e.g. Cassandra, Hadoop, MongoDB, Neo4J) Design patterns Agile environments (e.g. Scrum, XP) Software development best practices such as TDD (e.g. JUnit), automated testing (e.g. Gauge, Cucumber, FitNesse), continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins, GoCD) Linux command line and scripting languages Relational databases (e.g.Oracle, MySQL) Cloud computing, SaaS (Software as a Service) Atlassian tooling (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket) Developing with modern JDK (v1.7+) or ScalaJa Experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Kafka and/or Hadoop or NoSQL such as Cassandra Experience working with open source frameworks; preferably Spring Automated Testing: JUnit, Selenium, Jasmine GCP Experience - Nice to have Leadership Skills Develop strategic design and requirements as a major contributor to a projects success for large revenue generating systems/products. Identify improvements in systems and work and participate in estimation process, use case specifications, reviews of test plans and test cases, requirements, and project planning. Consistently demonstrates clear technical judgment, innovation, and consideration for the projects objectives. Able to provide technical guidance, supervise others, provide instructions, and debug code written by team members Self-starter, motivated, and actively learning and researching new methods of work and new technology. Contributions at this level span across the team and the development platform. Consistently hit development time estimates without underestimating or overestimating ability. Guide and mentor junior developers in developing code and workflow procedures, and conduct code reviews. Perform general application development activities, including unit testing, code deployment to development environment and technical documentation Understanding business needs and priorities at a tactical and a strategic level, providing communication and coordination between the relevant stakeholders and the product development team or teams. Owns the product and its capabilities and ensures that the business priorities are reflected in the committed work of the development team. Focuses on ensuring that the product value proposition and desired business capabilities are reflected in the product developed to ensure the success of the business endeavor. Develops the Product Roadmap of Feature and capabilities to ensure alignment of product development efforts with business strategic plans Participates in backlog grooming and sprint commitments (as needed) to ensure that the right capabilities are developed Works with business analysts to ensure that business objectives are understood and reflected in the features and user stories to be developed Works with management for estimation and tracking of financials, works with management on budget development for long-term product strategy |
