http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=785033&uid= From: Suvarna, QATOS LLC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Requirement details: Job title: SAP Project Test Lead Duration: 6 months Location: Remote Test System Specialist Delivery Team Quality System and Regression Support Skill: Unix (Shell scripting, File system navigation, Permission, etc) SAP Batch and job management and troubleshooting SAP ABAP and functional troubleshooting (SD, MM, FICO) ABAP Development (Optional) SAP integration EDI, File transfer, NDM, understanding of Agora or similar middle ware Knowledge of scheduling applications like Autosys , scripting, job creation and updates, system dependencies Troubleshooting and Root Cause analysis Responsibilities: Autosys Batch job documentation and standardization Ensure that batch job documentation is complete for every job and the proper restart and job management steps are documented with the proper team assignments and owners Ensure that jobs with known issues and resolution have the resolution steps properly documented on jobs documentation. Document when issues are shared and reported. Make sure that the existing Production jobs have the equivalent Test jobs created and maintained in production and the test systems Review and approve jobs for projects, enhancement, defects, and incidents to ensure standardization and consistency between test and production. Manage naming standards for job and ensure that new and existing jobs are up to SBD standards. Re-create missing test jobs in both test and production and existing jobs are maintained. Ensure consistency of deployed variants between the development, test, and production system Review job and variant deployment and updates before moving to the production environment. Regression and UAT testing Ensure that before the week of UAT and Regression that all job required for the weeks are up and running and checked daily during the two-week period of UAT and Regression. Daily check would be in the morning to resolved failed jobs unless there is a requirement to fix the job urgently during the day. Provide support UAT and Regression for job and variant changes for project and enhancements when needed. Ensure that the Project Team and Enhancement team transition of test scripts to Operations team. Manage adherence to the process and policy. Maintain a list of high priority and critical jobs that would need to be running in the test environments. Translate to how this is supported in production Gold, Silver and bronze Conflict and coordination between projects and enhancement and advise on approach and best way to resolve issues and concerns. Autosys, SAP and related systems upgrade, changes and activities, resource needs to be involved for testing, communications and coordination of timelines among active and ongoing projects. Work date and time summary: UAT (Project and Enhancement) and Regression Check and fix critical and identified job every morning for SAP systems (2 hours per day) Provide support for job failure and review Approve and review new and updated jobs and variants Review test script transition plan and coordinate proper completion of the process Pre-UAT and Pre-Regression week. Thu and Fri Review all critical jobs to ensure that they will be ready for UAT and Regression Week. Work with Project and Enhancement team on the adherence to process and standardizations for job, variants, and test scripts Be able to create missing jobs in TST and coordinate with Scheduling team to ensure test jobs are complete in production. Work with operations, delivery, and project teams to make sure variants are consistent within the SAP landscape Determine cause of job failures then coordinate or handover to the responsible teams (SME) Regular cadence with operations and testing teams with regards to script transitions and completeness Attend enhancement and project meetings to keep abreast of ongoing changes to the system. Ensure SAP jobs and Autosys jobs are running after system copybacks Not in scope Designing and managing the creation of the job, setting up, updating, and deleting jobs for the project and enhancements.
