Texas Health and Human Services Commission will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s). 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. The role of the software test manager is to lead the testing team. Test Manager plays a central role in the Team. The Test Manager takes full responsibility for the project's success. The role involves quality & test advocacy, resource planning & management, and resolution of issues that impede the testing effort. This QA/Test Manager for WIC will supervise the post-development software application testing of WIC solutions used by state staff, clinic staff and participants. This test manager will work independently with minimal supervision from WIC management on planning testing efforts, including establishing schedules, monitoring resources, reporting test status, surfacing issues encountered during test, ensuring issues are resolved before updates are deployed and assuring the WIC program remains compliant to obligatory regulations and mandates. This role will work with test teams consisting of approximately 26 internal and external testers on testing multiple projects simultaneously and will be responsible for interfacing between functions within the program, liaising with Information Technology areas, working with local health departments, and coordinating with leads from other State Agencies.
