Job Description: Job Title Cache DBA Admin Relevant Experience (in Yrs) 8+ years Technical/Functional Skills Install and configure Cache databases. Performs monitoring and maintenance of Cache databases. Applying major and minor software updates and fixes on the database. Planning datacenter for high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR). Monitor and proactively address problems and issues with database. Maintains proper documentation throughout the process of Cache database administration and maintenance. Develop scripts to automate day to day technical tasks. Manages migration of Cache databases. Establish monitoring guidelines and install/configure monitoring tools related to database alerts. Setup backup tools/ procedures and test restores from backups. Perform timely database workload tests and optimization tasks for optimal database performance. Work with other technical team members to establish end to end database delivery model for applications. Manage several Cache database environments on an ongoing basis. Perform Unix administration tasks as needed. Knowledge of basic scripting for task automations. Problem solving ability using data provided by end users or technical teams. SQL basics is an add on. Good technical and non-technical communication skills. Experience Required 8 years Roles & Responsibilities Install and configure Cache databases.
