Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ months Contract

Visa: GC, GC-EAD OR H4 OR OPT and Citizen only

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

The position is for an
Appian UI Developer who will be responsible for software development,
integration, customization, and support

The individual will be
working with other members of an agile team and will be responsible for
new development

Team members are
expected to work closely with analysts and the line of business to
understand new requirements and to deliver

Take requirements and
break them into work units in order to deliver Appian solution in the
context of a larger application

Code, configure, debug,
unit test, integration test, and document application enhancements

Support the development
of user guides for new projects and enhancements

Analyze, debug, and
revise existing application logic difficulties and update documentation as
necessary

Assist database
developers, quality assurance team, business analysts in ways to ensure
data integrity, consistency, security, and privacy

Adhere to organizational
policies, standards, and best practices in application development,
documentation, and maintenance that support the Software Development
Lifecycle (SDLC) following Agile iterative development approach

Effectively troubleshoot
technical issues as they arise during project life cycles

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will
be an Appian developer, with experience in delivering BPM solutions and an
ability to learn

At least 5 years of
Appian UI hands-on experience in development, configuration, debug, unit
test and documentation

Worked on one or more
end-to-end Appian BPM or UI implementation (Design/Develop/Deploy/Package)

Expertise in designing
and implementing BPM solutions for process simplification, case management,
and role based applications

Exceptional knowledge of
the product including BPM Fundamentals, Architecture Components, Technical
Features such as Designer Features, Configurations in Appian, etc.

Experience in design and
development in Appian BPM including components such as Tempo, Forums,
SAIL, Plugin development, Smart Services, Reports, and Deployment, etc.

Expertise in business
Integration deployment and human task management using Appian 18 higher
versions

Ability to do root cause
analysis on production issues reported by business users

Need to work
independently on assignments based on specific requirements

Experience with database
design

Able to identify and
articulate the risks during development deployment

Able to coordinate and
communicate with various teams with exceptional communication skills

Expertise in using CI/CD
Pipeline for Appian

Good understanding of
Appian Objects such as Records, Sites, Actions, Security, Expression
Rules, Constants, Query Rules, Web API, Interface Rules, CDTs, Process
Models, Constants, Decisions, Integrations, Connected Systems, Data
Stores, Groups, etc.

Skills to leverage
Appian technical documentation and Appian user community to build new
prototypes as required

Desired Skills:

Hands-on development on
Appian (18x/19x/20x) BPM applications, including SAIL code
