KDB+/Q Developer or Analyst Location: NYC, NY/Stamford, CT (Hybrid) Visa: USC, GC, GCEAD, OPTEAD only Duration: 6 months with extension Responsibilities: Design and implement software for managing large datasets. Clean, filter, and maintain data integrity. Analyze historical and real-time data. Generate reports for Trading Research and Trade Surveillance. Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams. Liaise with various departments for seamless integration. Qualifications: Technical Skills: Proficient in KDB+/Q programming language. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle. Ability to extract insights from large datasets. Familiarity with market data sources like TAQ. Understanding of the FIX protocol is a plus. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work well in a team.
